Canadian Cancer Society is Seeking Youth Volunteers

April is Daffodil month for the Canadian Cancer Society, and what that means is that the Canadian Cancer Society for the entire month goes out into the communities all across this country to accomplish two main things: to raise awareness about CCS and cancer in general, and to raise funds for cancer research, support and treatment.

We are hoping to recruit some youth volunteers on one day in particular, Pin Day -April 27th, to help us raise some funds and exposure for the CCS.

Those volunteers would hopefully be accompanied by other youths from other schools in malls throughout the Greater Victoria region (Hillside, The Bay Center, Mayfair, Tillicum) and would be selling our Daffodil Pin in high traffic areas within that mall. Because it’s a school day, the shift would be between 3-5,6pm, depending on the closure of the mall.
